About
Carolyn White brings a unique, multifaceted perspective to the Preschool – High School admissions process. In her 25 years working in the Los Angeles independent school world, Carolyn has experienced the admissions process from almost every angle: as a classroom teacher, as the Assistant Director of Admissions at Crossroads School for sixteen years, as an independent admissions consultant and as a mother who navigated the process for her own daughter, a graduate of Marlborough School and UCLA.
Carolyn has established strong relationships with admissions directors throughout Los Angeles who value her perspective. She has interviewed and evaluated thousands of families, both in her time at Crossroads and as an independent consultant, which gives her unique insight into how schools assess and make decisions about applicants. Carolyn’s clients consistently gain admittance to the best independent schools throughout California and the east coast as well as boarding schools, both nationally and internationally.
Carolyn has been a working member of the Los Angeles Consortium of Independent Schools, A Better Chance and The Alliance for Minority Affairs.
